DEVOTED TO BECOMING
As we wrap up our yearly theme on Building A Legacy, we are going to ask one final question: What kind of people are we becoming? Acts 2 reminds us that following Jesus is not built on occasional moments of excitement, but on continually returning to His Word, His people, the gospel, and prayer. Because we become what we continually give ourselves to, and eventually, what we become is what we pass on. My prayer is that the legacy we leave behind will be far greater than our names. It will be Jesus.

Join us at Tompkins High School at 10:00 am. The link to watch LIVE is on our YouTube Channel. You can go to our home page on our website or our App to connect.

This week's order of worship can be found here!

God bless,
Pastor Scott
PROMOTION SUNDAY
Promotion Sunday is an exciting milestone as our children and students move up to their next class and begin a new season of learning and growing in their faith. Join us as we celebrate this special day and pray for all of our kids as they take the next step in their journey with Christ!
2ND GRADE BIBLE PRESENTATION
One of the great milestones in a child's spiritual journey is receiving their very own Bible. On August 16, we'll celebrate our 2nd and 3rd graders by presenting them with a Bible and praying that God's Word will guide, shape, and strengthen their faith for years to come.
JOIN OUR NEW ALPHA CLASS
The Alpha course is designed to help make spaces where people can freely explore the basics of the Christian faith together. It provides an environment where honest conversations around some of life’s biggest questions are answered. If you are looking to grow in your faith, we HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to sign up now. Space is limited.  You can sign up HERE!
TACO BAR POTLUCK! [BRING YOUR OWN LETTUCE!]
Mark your calendar for our Taco Bar Potluck on Sunday, August 23, immediately following the worship service! We'll provide the meat and shells, and we invite everyone to bring a favorite taco topping to share. If you want lettuce, we encourage you to bring your own for you and your family, but not for sharing. It will be a great afternoon of delicious food, meaningful fellowship, and time together as a church family. Sign up for toppings here!
KAIROS PRISON MINISTRY WEEKEND OPPORTUNITY
This fall, we have a powerful opportunity to share the love of Jesus in a place most people never see. In October, Kairos Prison Ministry will be hosting a 3‑day Kairos Retreat for the men at the Navasota Pack 12 Unit, and they’ve invited our church to help.

Kairos is a Christian ministry that goes inside prisons to lead spiritual retreats—three days of worship, teaching, listening, and showing God’s unconditional love. These weekends change lives. Many men encounter Christ in a real and personal way for the first time.

All men over the age of 20 are invited to volunteer to be part of the inside team. You don’t need special skills—just a willing heart. If God is stirring something in you, we’d love for you to learn more.

If you are interested, please reach out to Kevin Campbell, our Missions Coordinator at wkcampbell@gmail.com
Or you can learn more by going to:  KairosTexas.org or KairosPrisonMinistry.org.

Let’s be a church that brings hope where it’s needed most.
MEN'S BIBLE STUDY: IF YOU MISSED LAST WEEK
Looking for a place to grow in your faith alongside other men? Join us every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 PM as we journey through the book of Ecclesiastes. There's no homework, no pressure, and no fuss...just men opening God's Word together, encouraging one another, and having honest conversations about living faithfully in today's world. We'd love to have you join us!

Directions and details will be available on the church app.
TAKE WORSHIP WITH YOU THROUGHOUT THE WEEK!
Keep worship going all week long! Through the Living Stones Church app, you can listen to many of the songs we sing on Sunday, helping you worship, reflect on God's truth, and prepare your heart throughout the week. Download the app and take worship with you wherever you go.
OUR AMAZING PRAYER AND CARE TEAM
Your Prayer and Care Team is one of the most powerful ministries at Living Stones Church. This team faithfully lifts up every prayer request, follows up with care, and walks alongside our church family in both joyful and difficult seasons. Whether it’s sending prayer blankets, organizing meals through food trains, or simply reaching out to remind you that you are not alone, they are there to serve and support.

Don’t miss out on what God can do through prayer. If you have a need, we would be honored to pray for you. Simply go to our app and click on “Prayer Requests” to let us know how we can stand with you.
JESUS' FAVORITE OF THE MONTH: STACIA HOLDA
This month, we're excited to honor Stacia Holda as our "Jesus' Favorite of the Month!" Stacia faithfully serves in several areas of Living Stones Church, always bringing compassion, wisdom, and a genuine love for people. She is part of our newly formed Grief Ministry, where she helps care for those walking through seasons of loss. She also serves on our Prayer Team and helps lead in Women’s Ministry Bible studies, encouraging women to grow deeper in their faith. Every week, Stacia invests in our students as a small group facilitator in Student Ministry, helping them know Jesus and navigate life with biblical guidance. We are incredibly grateful for Stacia’s servant heart and the many ways she allows God to use her to bless our church family!
THE POWER OF A LIFEGROUP
Keep it up! Your LifeGroup matters more than you know. When gathering with others becomes a habit, it strengthens your faith, deepens your relationships, and gives you a place to grow throughout the week. If you are not yet in a LifeGroup and would like to join one, contact us and we will help you get connected.
