Living Stones Leadership Team

Lead Pastor

Pastor Scott accepted Christ while in college, then felt called to full-time ministry in 2001. He holds a Doctor of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Master of Divinity degree with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Before answering God’s call to start Living Stones Church, Scott worked as a student pastor at churches in Georgia and Texas. He then spent three years as a campus pastor. During this time, he fell in love with church planting before stepping out in faith and launching Living Stones in 2017.
Scott, and his wife Charlotte, met through Campus Crusade for Christ in Atlanta. They married in 2000. Charlotte teaches in Lamar Consolidated ISD. Scott and Charlotte are devoted parents to three awesome children.

In his spare time, Scott likes to read anything and everything, hang out with his family, and watch Alabama football.

Children’s Ministry Director

Amanda answered the call to serve as the Children’s Ministry Director at Living Stones in 2017. She and her husband, John, who married in 2003, have three children ranging in age from high school to elementary school.
After graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on Early Childhood Development, Amanda taught kindergarten for two years in the Texas public school system. After she and John welcomed their first child, she stayed home to focus on their family, always playing an active volunteer role in their church.
Amanda was a volunteer co-children’s leader and nursery coordinator for a church plant in Bentonville, Arkansas, for two years. After moving to Katy, Texas, she served as a Sunday School teacher, VBS volunteer, preschool council board member, and a children’s event volunteer before being named West Campus Children’s Coordinator.

Student Pastor

As young as eight, Zac Aikman knew his vocation must involve working with the Bible. That’s how much he loved reading it! Today, as Student Pastor at Living Stones, he helps teens understand the Bible as their guidebook to life.
Zac has lived in Katy since the age of three, attending a local Methodist church with his parents and younger sister. He is a graduate of Seven Lakes High School where he was a member of the debate team and choir.
Following high school, Zac attended Texas A&M University. There, he was actively involved in CRU, a part of TAMU Campus Crusade for Christ, and TAMU Navigators, another faith-based organization.

Zac graduated from TAMU in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. Before joining Living Stones, he completed a summer internship at his family’s home church in Katy. In his spare time, Zac likes to play piano and Ultimate Frisbee.
